Zoe's Flowers

$1800 NZD
(Last One)

Zoe’s Flowers is an original acrylic on canvas (510 × 510 mm) by New Zealand artist Max Thomson. This intimate still life captures a lush arrangement of garden blooms — crimson, pink, and gold — set within a soft green vase beside a bowl of lemons. Through layered brushwork and gentle light, Thomson evokes the serenity and timeless beauty of the natural world.

Born in Wanganui in 1945, Thomson’s work is deeply rooted in his connection to the Whanganui River and the surrounding landscape. His paintings, shaped by a lifetime of observation, offer a quiet dialogue between memory, place, and the enduring rhythms of the land.
