Dotty Cushion in Shaded Brown 30x40

The Dotty Cushion in Shaded Brown takes a single motif — a small, tufted circle of rose-pink embroidery — and repeats it across a deep tobacco-brown silk velvet ground in even rows. The effect is quiet and considered: the dots are soft and slightly irregular, each one worked by hand, and the velvet beneath shifts between warm amber and dark brown depending on the light. Up close the texture is evident; from across a room, it reads as a richly toned, gently spotted surface.

Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, each Dotty Cushion is embroidered on the frame, piece by piece, with fabric dyed to Drechsel's own colour specifications. A smaller cushion that sits quietly alongside bolder pieces or holds its own in a simpler arrangement.
