Drapé Oval Platter

The Drapé Oval Platter takes the form of fabric caught mid-fold, its rim gathered into a continuous run of soft, rounded pleats that circle the piece from end to end. Where the centre stays smooth and flat, the edge lifts and dips, catching the light differently at every angle.

Part of the Drapé Collection, a range of airy, pleated plates that take their form from the draped fabric of Antiquity, the fluted edges recalling cloth gathered and set in folds rather than cut or cast. Substantial enough to anchor a table, it works as well for serving as it does on its own as a display piece.
