The Large Régence Platter takes a rectangular form with cut corners, its wide flat rim broken at the centre of each long side by a small scrolled flourish. The well stays plain, leaving the moulded border to carry the shape.

Part of the Régence Collection, one of Astier de Villatte's first creations, drawn from an antique French dish. Its arabesque motif is moulded, stretched, cut away, and multiplied across the range, generating curves and counter-curves over 28 pieces in total, from small oval dishes for radishes to the collection's largest "shark" platters, made for a whole fish.
