Each petal is carefully shaped and painted by hand in the Milan atelier of Elisabetta and Carolina Sonzini, where traditional craftsmanship is expressed through a considered botanical lens.
Created using tôle peinte, an 18th-century French technique of painting on metal, the piece reveals subtle texture and tonal variation through its hand-applied finish. The softly curved petals and gentle structure bring a sense of balance and understated detail to the form.
