Little White Hellebore - Copper Flower Sculpture

The Little White Hellebore is a hand-painted copper flower sculpture that captures the quiet, downward-facing form of this winter bloom in a refined, smaller scale. Each petal is carefully shaped and painted by hand in the Milan atelier of Elisabetta and Carolina Sonzini, where traditional craftsmanship is expressed through a considered botanical lens.

Created using tôle peinte, an 18th-century French technique of painting on metal, the piece reveals subtle texture and tonal variation through its hand-applied finish. The softly curved petals and gentle structure bring a sense of balance and understated detail to the form.

Mounted on a simple black wooden base, the Little White Hellebore is designed as a sculptural object - adding a calm, considered presence to a console, mantel, or interior setting. A lasting bloom, it reflects a thoughtful approach to material and craftsmanship.
