Tall White Cornflower - Copper Flower Sculpture

The Tall White Cornflower is a hand-painted copper flower sculpture that captures the delicate structure and airy form of this field bloom in an elongated, vertical composition. Each petal is carefully shaped and painted by hand in the Milan atelier of Elisabetta and Carolina Sonzini, where traditional craftsmanship is expressed through a refined botanical lens.

Created using tôle peinte, an 18th-century French technique of painting on metal, the piece reveals subtle depth and tonal variation through its hand-applied finish. The extended stem and finely detailed petals introduce height and lightness, bringing a sense of balance and quiet movement to the form.

Mounted on a simple black wooden base, the Tall White Cornflower is designed as a sculptural object - adding height and presence to a console, mantel, or interior setting. A lasting bloom, it reflects a thoughtful approach to material and craftsmanship.
