Little Yellow Buttercup - Copper Flower Sculpture

The Little Yellow Buttercup is a hand-painted copper flower sculpture that captures the simple clarity and gentle form of this cheerful bloom in a refined, smaller scale. Each petal is carefully shaped and painted by hand in the Milan atelier of Elisabetta and Carolina Sonzini, where traditional craftsmanship is expressed through a considered botanical lens.

Created using tôle peinte, an 18th-century French technique of painting on metal, the piece reveals subtle texture and tonal variation through its hand-applied finish. The soft yellow tones and open form bring a sense of lightness and quiet warmth to the composition.
