The Megan Elephant Small in Dark Oyster carries a botanical embroidery across its entire form — large open roses in deep crimson with raised, densely worked centres sit alongside smaller flowers in rose-pink and soft cream, connected by spreading stems with olive-green and gold leaves. The embroidery travels from the legs up across the body and onto the ear, which bears its own bold central bloom. The ground is a crushed dark oyster silk velvet, warm and rose-toned, the pile moving freely across the surface. The tail ends in a small tassel.
Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, each Megan Elephant is embroidered on the frame, piece by piece, with fabric dyed to Drechsel's own colour specifications.
