The Miranda Giraffe in Citrine shares its form with the Kylin — the same 34 cm height, the same warm brown fringe mane — but the embroidery is entirely different in mood. Fine cream stem work traces looping stems, small leaves and berry clusters across the citrine yellow velvet in a continuous all-over pattern, as though drawn onto the surface. Between these, larger blooms in warm taupe, blush pink and brown are worked with more density, anchoring the trailing embroidery around them.
Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, each Miranda Giraffe is embroidered on the frame, piece by piece, with fabric dyed to Drechsel's own colour specifications. Where the Kylin reads as graphic, the Miranda reads as botanical — two distinct approaches to the same generous form.
