The Pride coffee spoon carries David Mellor's first cutlery design, created in 1953 while he was still a student at the Royal College of Art. Pride went on to win a place in the very first Design Centre Awards in 1957, and has been in continuous production since — the delicate curve and refined proportions still recognisably modern, more than seventy years on.

Hand polished 18/10 stainless steel.

Sold individually.

David Mellor Design

Renowned British designer David Mellor (1930–2009) earned an international reputation for his exceptional cutlery and kitchenware. Trained as a silversmith in Sheffield—the heart of England’s steel industry—Mellor combined traditional craftsmanship with timeless modern design. His work is celebrated globally and held in museum collections around the world. In 1990, Mellor established a purpose-built factory dedicated to producing his iconic cutlery and knives.
