The Rosewood Steak Knife Set is designed by Corin Mellor, the top of the David Mellor range, introduced after three years of development. The handles are curved from Indian rosewood, the material long favoured by culinary experts, hand finished and riveted through the tang for a grip that stays true over years of use.
The blades are cast in high carbon stainless steel, precision ground with a curved bolster, then glazed for a bright, even finish. The serration is fine enough to saw cleanly through cooked meat fibres rather than compress them, keeping the juices in rather than pressed out.
