Pride Cutlery carries David Mellor's first design, created in 1953 while he was still a student at the Royal College of Art. It went on to win a place in the very first Design Centre Awards in 1957, and has been in continuous production since — the gently tapered hollow knife handle and refined proportions still recognisably modern, more than seventy years on.
Hand polished 18/10 stainless steel, with ivory acetal resin knife handles and high carbon stainless steel blades ground for a precise cutting edge.
Set comprises: 1 table fork, 1 table knife, 1 dessert spoon.
Table knife 21.9cm, width 1.8cm.
Table fork 20.8cm, width 2.4cm.
Dessert spoon 18.6cm, width 4.1cm.
