The Sona Elephant Small in Old Rose carries the same embroidery language as the large — five-petal flowers in terracotta and warm gold, chenille clusters, fine leaf sprays in silver-blue — but at 14 cm the flowers read with more weight, the ear motif taking up most of its surface. The tail ends in a small gold tassel, visible from every angle.
Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, each Sona Elephant is embroidered on the frame, piece by piece, with fabric dyed to Drechsel's own colour specifications. A piece that sits well alone or alongside the larger Sona — the difference in scale changes the reading without changing what it is.
