The Sophia Elephant in Antique Gold carries a full botanical embroidery across its entire form — large open peonies in rose-pink and warm cream with amber-gold centres sit alongside smaller daisy forms, scattered buds, and soft coral accents, all connected by spreading stems with olive and sage-green leaves. The embroidery is generous and varied, no two areas reading the same. The ear carries its own cluster of open daisy flowers with raised centres. The ground is a crushed antique gold silk velvet, deep and warm, shifting between amber and darker tobacco tones as the pile moves in the light.
Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, each Sophia Elephant is embroidered on the frame, piece by piece, with fabric dyed to Drechsel's own colour specifications.
