A crushed olive silk velvet — deep and green-toned, shifting between warm khaki and richer forest depending on the light — finished on all four sides with a beige fringe. The fringe is a soft, warm peach-pink that sits in deliberate contrast to the depth of the velvet, the two colours quietly complementary. The pile moves freely across the surface, giving the velvet a depth that plain fabric would not have.
Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, with fabric dyed to Anke Drechsel's own colour specifications.
