A crushed pink silk velvet — warm and saturated, landing somewhere between raspberry and rose, lifting to a brighter fuchsia where the pile catches direct light — finished on all four sides with a gold fringe. The fringe is a burnished amber-gold that sits in sharp and deliberate contrast to the depth of the velvet, the two colours bold together. The pile moves freely across the surface, the colour never quite settling to a single tone.
Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, with fabric dyed to Anke Drechsel's own colour specifications.
