A long, straight-cut coat inspired by antique workwear — grounded, utilitarian, and rich in character.

Crafted from antique French linen, estimated to be 50–70 years old, this piece carries the quiet history of its cloth. Hand dyed with walnut, the Hazelnut tone reveals natural depth and variation, enhancing the texture and individuality of the fabric. Soft yet durable, the linen is designed to wear beautifully over time.

Each garment is entirely cut, sewn, and finished by Oliver Church in Paris, reflecting a deeply personal and considered approach to making. Traditional techniques are employed throughout — hand-sewn buttonholes in French soie perlée, hand-shanked vintage buttons, and a collar closed by hand for a softer, more natural line. Reinforcement is achieved using handwoven cotton, with no fusing or synthetic bonding, allowing the garment to age with integrity.

The silhouette is clean and elongated. Patch pockets are carefully shaped and positioned in line with the garment’s natural seams, balancing function with form. An internal breast pocket finished with visible top-stitching — all a quiet nod to classic workwear construction. Flat felled seams ensure durability, while each piece is accompanied by a fabric swatch for future repair, extending the life of the garment.

A singular piece — expressive in its materiality, considered in its construction, and made to be worn for years to come.
