A square-cut workwear jacket — understated, textural, and quietly refined.
Crafted from antique French linen and overdyed to a soft Sage/Grey tone, the fabric carries a gentle patina shaped by time. The muted colouration enhances the natural irregularity of the cloth, offering a balance of structure and softness that continues to evolve with wear.
Each garment is entirely cut, sewn, and finished by Oliver Church in Paris, reflecting a deeply personal and deliberate approach to making. Traditional techniques are used throughout — hand-sewn buttonholes in French soie perlée, hand-shanked vintage buttons with antique shell backing, and a collar closed by hand for a softer, more natural finish. Reinforcement is achieved using handwoven cotton, with no fusing or synthetic bonding, allowing the garment to age with integrity.
The silhouette is clean and square, with a slightly boxy proportion that sits away from the body. Two large patch pockets at the hem and an internal chest pocket provide practical function, while flat felled seams ensure durability and longevity. Each piece is accompanied by a fabric swatch for ongoing care and repair.
A singular piece — softened by time, defined by craftsmanship, and made to endure.
