An oversized, four-button jacket — relaxed in form, with a quiet, utilitarian sensibility.
Crafted from vintage French linen and cotton, estimated to be 50–70 years old, the fabric carries both strength and subtle irregularity. Naturally dyed using chlorophyll extract, the Olive tone is soft and organic, designed to shift and fade over time, developing a unique patina with wear.
Each garment is entirely cut, sewn, and finished by Oliver Church in Paris, reflecting a deeply personal and deliberate approach to making. Traditional techniques are used throughout — hand-sewn buttonholes in French soie perlée, hand-shanked vintage buttons with antique shell backing, and a collar closed by hand for a softer, more natural finish. Reinforcement is achieved using handwoven cotton, with no fusing or synthetic bonding, allowing the garment to age with integrity.
The silhouette is intentionally oversized, with a generous cut through the body for ease and movement. Large side entry patch pockets and an internal breast pocket with visible top-stitching bring both function and quiet detail. Flat felled seams ensure durability, while each piece is accompanied by a fabric swatch for ongoing care and repair.
