The Anna Cushion in Moss Green puts the same open daisy motif as the Ivory version onto a deep moss green velvet ground — and the effect is entirely different. The flowers are vivid crimson-magenta with warm amber-gold centres, packed so closely that the dark green shows only in the spaces between petals. The radiating satin stitch is dense and raised, the embroidery commanding from the other side of a room. The back is plain moss green velvet, quiet and considered against the embroidered face.
Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, each Anna Cushion is embroidered on the frame, piece by piece, with fabric dyed to Drechsel's own colour specifications. A rectangular cushion that works as a single statement or alongside others in the range.
