The Arnold Circus Stool in Heritage Red is a modern design classic — bold, playful, and quietly architectural. Originally designed in 2006 by Martino Gamper as part of a regeneration project for Arnold Circus in Shoreditch, London, the stool has since become an enduring symbol of contemporary public design.
This version is made under licence in New Zealand, crafted from 100% recyclable polyethylene plastic using rotational moulding. Our mould offers a slightly more generous seating area than the original UK version, providing enhanced comfort while preserving the sculptural integrity of the design. Subtle surface variations may occur — a natural result of the moulding process and part of the stool’s individual character.
Finished in Heritage Red, a rich, grounding tone inspired by traditional civic architecture, this stool adds warmth and presence to both indoor and outdoor spaces. Lightweight yet robust, it functions effortlessly as extra seating, a side table, or a flexible accent piece — ideal for entertaining, shared spaces, and everyday living.
