Indigo Plate

$106 USD

The Indigo Plate by Tsé & Tsé is a striking piece of tableware that balances depth, delicacy, and quiet drama. Crafted from white porcelain and finished with a midnight blue glaze, its surface shifts from near-black to rich, luminous blue, catching the light with subtle variation. A fine hand-applied gold rim traces the edge, adding a gentle note of refinement.

Irregular in form and handmade in France using the traditional slip-casting process, each plate carries the nuanced marks of its making—no two are exactly alike. The glazed enamel and gold detailing elevate the plate beyond the everyday, making it as suited to considered entertaining as it is to being admired on open shelving.

A precious object by nature, the Indigo Plate is best cared for with intention: hand wash only, without abrasive sponges, and never place in the dishwasher or microwave. A quietly luxurious addition to the table, designed to be used thoughtfully and enjoyed over time.

ABOUT the MAKER

Tsé & Tsé Associées

Tsé & Tsé associées is a French design house celebrated for its playful, poetic approach to everyday objects. Founded in 1991 by Parisian designers Sigolène Prébois and Catherine Lévy, it remains one of the few independent design companies in France. Each piece is conceived, prototyped, and refined in their Bastille workshop, where a small, dedicated team oversees every stage from idea to final product. Known for their originality and irregularity, Tsé & Tsé creations are intentionally unique — no two items are ever quite the same. These thoughtful differences are the brand’s signature, adding soul and story to each object. At Tessuti, we offer a curated selection of Tsé & Tsé objects that combine French charm with enduring function — perfect for the home that values character and craftsmanship.
