Les Igloos de Nuit Rayé (Striped)

$147.50 NZD

Les Igloos de Nuit Rayé (Striped) by Tsé & Tsé are poetic porcelain candle holders that reveal their character gradually — understated by day, luminous by night.

In natural light, the igloos appear almost invisible, their matte white porcelain defined only by fine, rhythmic stripes that wrap gently around the surface. These subtle linear details catch the eye softly, offering a restrained sculptural presence. When evening falls, a single tealight brings the form to life: candlelight glows through the paper-thin porcelain, the striped texture diffusing light into a warm, calming halo.

Handmade in France, each igloo is paired with a matching porcelain saucer that allows light to pool beneath, enhancing the sense of quiet atmosphere. The Rayé (Striped) finish creates a serene interplay of line and illumination — refined, tactile, and beautifully balanced.

Designed for moments of stillness, Les Igloos de Nuit Rayé bring warmth to shelves, tables, and bedside settings, whether styled alone or gathered in a gentle cluster.

Dimensions: Cup base: 9cm diameter, Saucer: 13cm diameter, Height: 8.5cm

ABOUT the MAKER

Tsé & Tsé Associées

Tsé & Tsé associées is a French design house celebrated for its playful, poetic approach to everyday objects. Founded in 1991 by Parisian designers Sigolène Prébois and Catherine Lévy, it remains one of the few independent design companies in France. Each piece is conceived, prototyped, and refined in their Bastille workshop, where a small, dedicated team oversees every stage from idea to final product. Known for their originality and irregularity, Tsé & Tsé creations are intentionally unique — no two items are ever quite the same. These thoughtful differences are the brand’s signature, adding soul and story to each object. At Tessuti, we offer a curated selection of Tsé & Tsé objects that combine French charm with enduring function — perfect for the home that values character and craftsmanship.
