A crushed old rose silk velvet — pale and luminous, shifting between blush pink and soft ivory where the pile catches the light — finished on all four sides with a peach rose fringe. The fringe is a shade deeper and warmer than the velvet, the combination almost entirely tonal, the overall effect soft without being insubstantial. The crushed surface moves freely, no two angles reading quite the same.
Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, with fabric dyed to Anke Drechsel's own colour specifications.
