Conceived 80 years ago, and entirely hand made by women from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy.
Today's construction of the shoe uses the same traditional methods, whereby the top part of the shoe, La Tomaia, is hand-stitched to the bottom part, La Suola, using a waxed thread. The rubber sole is machine stitched so as to avoid the use of glue, allowing breathability and maximum comfort.
