Lemon Strawberry Poppyseed Cake Kit


This kit makes a light, moist and not-too-sweet cake. We love the gentle crunch of the poppy seeds and how the flavours of the lemon and strawberries work together to taste like summer (although this cake can be made all year round if you use frozen strawberries, which work just as well as fresh). This kit is vegan-friendly if you use dairy free milk and oil instead of butter.


  • Ingredients: Organic Unbleached Wheat Flour, Cane Sugar, Organic Powdered Sugar, Blanched Almond Meal, Poppy Seeds, Baking Powder, Freeze-Dried Strawberries, Freeze-Dried Lemons, Salt.
  • This kit contains poppy seed cake mix, strawberry glaze mix, strawberry decorations, non-stick liner for 8 inch (20cm) cake tin, instruction card.
  • You will need 3/4 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of oli or melted butter, 2 large lemons, 1 1/2 cup of strawberries, 8 inch (20cm) cake tin.
  • Any regular or dairy free milk will work. If using oil, use a neutral flavoured oil. You can use fresh or frozen strawberries..
