A wide, flat ceramic shade with a crimped and scalloped edge - the Tutu hangs from a twisted cord and a white enamel canopy, its form somewhere between a ballet skirt and a vintage café fitting. The exposed bulb sits below the shallow dish of the shade, casting light outward and downward in equal measure.
Made by Astier de Villatte in Paris, the Tutu works well hung low over a table or in a corner where its silhouette can be appreciated close up. Sold as a complete set including the ceramic canopy and twisted cord.
