After hearing only good things about Grey Lynn-based restaurant Viet, we decided to book in a table and see for ourselves. And we we were not disappointed. The menu was filled with yummy Vietnamese options, all sounding as delicious as the next, and by the time we looked up from our menus the entire restaurant was packed! This sight only further reassured us that our decision to come to Viet was a good one. 

For our starters we were served Bang Bang Prawns and Mustard Lettuce Rolls (we had a mini tug-of-war over the last Bang Bang Prawn - go figure). For our mains we chose Grilled Fish in Banana Leaf (the highlight of our night) and Flame Grilled Lemongrass Chicken, both served with a cabbage slaw, prawn crackers and white rice. Delicious!
