Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them — Wisdom from the wonderful Winnie the Pooh as we get down onto the floor with the children and see the world as they see it: big, colourful and new. Christmas time equals long summer school holidays (for us in the Southern Hemisphere) which means rooms full of squeals, laughs and lullabies and a house full of family. It also means story books are a plenty at bedtime and not just one but all toys out on the lounge floor. With that in mind we wanted to think of beautiful and lasting objects for our young ones. Things that are well made and special rather than quick, breakable and more often than not plastic toys.
