Tessuti felt very cosy last week: candles on, the aroma of mulled wine brewing, beautiful textiles hanging and draping in every corner. A rich and wintery colour palette filled the store, accented with hot reds and warm ambers — a perfect setting for our Winter & Weave event featuring three of our local makers, Olivia Smith of NODI and Sarah and Loren from Penney + Bennett. Thank you for sharing stories from India and giving us insight to the ways in which you are preserving traditional techniques. You girls are such an inspiration and the beautiful items you make are testament to this.
