Little Pink Carnation - Copper Flower Sculpture

The Little Pink Carnation is a hand-painted copper flower sculpture that captures the finely ruffled texture and soft layering of this enduring bloom in a refined, smaller scale. Each petal is carefully shaped and painted by hand in the Milan atelier of Elisabetta and Carolina Sonzini, where traditional craftsmanship is expressed through a considered botanical lens.

Created using tôle peinte, an 18th-century French technique of painting on metal, the piece reveals subtle texture and tonal variation through its hand-applied finish. The delicate pink tones and detailed form bring a sense of softness and quiet movement to the composition.

Mounted on a simple black wooden base, the Little Pink Carnation is designed as a sculptural object - adding gentle colour and presence to a console, mantel, or interior setting. A lasting bloom, it reflects a thoughtful approach to material and craftsmanship.
