The Stadium Pepper Mill – Mahogany/Red Wine by Woo-Lam (Sam) Choi of Walk In The Park unites contemporary form with timeless craftsmanship. Each piece is hand-turned in Auckland, New Zealand, and celebrates the beauty of natural wood through sculptural simplicity and tactile depth.

Fitted with a Crushgrind ceramic mechanism, the mill adjusts easily from fine to coarse at the touch of a discreet grey button beneath the base. Designed for use with salt, pepper, spices, or dried herbs, it opens via the removable base or top lid for effortless refilling.

Handcrafted from Iroko and Mahogany, this piece showcases warm, dark tones and organic textures that create a striking visual contrast. Natural cracks or grain variations are inherent to the wood’s character and are considered a hallmark of its authenticity.

Walk In The Park is the studio practice of artist and designer Woo-Lam (Sam) Choi, based in Auckland, New Zealand. Trained in woodworking and furniture design at Hong-ik University in Korea, Sam began exploring wood-turning in 2016. His work today sits at the intersection of form and function — each object carefully hand-turned from timber in his studio, where simplicity and craftsmanship take centre stage. Walk In The Park celebrates honest design where beauty and utility are intertwined. Sam's sculptural vessels, bowls and objects reflect a quiet reverence for material, process and proportion.
