Pink Dahlia - Copper Flower Sculpture

The Pink Dahlia is a hand-painted copper flower sculpture that captures the intricate symmetry and layered depth of this striking bloom. Each petal is carefully shaped and painted by hand in the Milan atelier of Elisabetta and Carolina Sonzini, where traditional craftsmanship is expressed through a refined botanical lens.

Created using tôle peinte, an 18th-century French technique of painting on metal, the piece reveals subtle depth and tonal variation through its hand-applied finish. The dense, structured form of the dahlia is balanced by its soft pink tones, bringing both precision and warmth to the composition.

Mounted on a simple black wooden base, the Pink Dahlia is designed as a sculptural object — adding presence and detail to a console, mantel, or interior setting. A lasting bloom, it reflects a thoughtful approach to material and craftsmanship.
