Tall White Cosmos - Copper Flower Sculpture

The Tall White Cosmos is a hand-painted copper flower sculpture that captures the light, open form of this delicate bloom in an elongated, vertical composition. Each petal is carefully shaped and painted by hand in the Milan atelier of Elisabetta and Carolina Sonzini, where traditional craftsmanship is expressed through a refined botanical lens.

Created using tôle peinte, an 18th-century French technique of painting on metal, the piece reveals subtle depth and tonal variation through its hand-applied finish. The extended stem and airy petals introduce height and movement, bringing a sense of balance and quiet clarity to the form.

Mounted on a simple black wooden base, the Tall White Cosmos is designed as a sculptural object - adding height and presence to a console, mantel, or interior setting. A lasting bloom, it reflects a thoughtful approach to material and craftsmanship.
