A crushed orchid silk velvet — warm and pink-toned, moving between soft peach and deeper rose where the pile folds in the light — finished on all four sides with a peach rose fringe. The fringe is a shade deeper and more saturated than the velvet, the combination warm throughout and gently graduated. The crushed surface catches light unevenly, the velvet never settling to a single tone.
Designed in Germany and made by hand in India, with fabric dyed to Anke Drechsel's own colour specifications.
